“I’m Jave, a digital and data marketer with 15+ years experience. I’m now looking to apply this experience and knowledge by working and supporting with local and independent businesses that are trying to do things differently.

How did the Business & IP Centre help?
“The BIPC has helped me and my small business become more aware of support services I can access. For example, through the BIPC Advisor based at Beeston I came to know about the D2N2 Growth Hub’s Take Off 22 event, from which I engaged with at least 3 organisations that will be able to provide much needed support across resources and skills training to my business.
The BIPC Advisor and I also did a Grantfinder session at my local library to look for suitable funding for my business.”
Best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
Keep a close eye on the line between how you run your business and where your business runs you!
Most likely to be found in/at?
I’d like to say at a music gig, out on my bike or head in a book. But spare time is a rare luxury these days!
Has there been a book that impacted you?
Quite a few; Sapiens (highlighted how insignificant we are in relation to the history of mankind), The Truth about Lies (how event the truth isn’t how it always seems and the art of ‘manipulation’), Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (the different schools of thought people can take on and how to work with and understand those perspectives).
