Immersive murder mystery commission
Call out: Creative commissions – Agatha Christie 2026
Nottingham City Libraries and Inspire are looking for creatives to take part in two exciting commissions as part of Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery.
We are seeking:
- A drama practitioner to create an immersive murder mystery experience
- A writer to work with communities to co-produce engaging audio content
Both projects are part of the British Library Living Knowledge Network – a UK-wide partnership of libraries working together to share ideas and create engaging experiences for communities.
Inspired by Agatha Christie’s work, the projects will explore why her stories are still loved today, and bring this to life for audiences in a fun and accessible way.
The work will be developed and delivered across libraries in: Nottingham Central, Strelley Road, Hyson Green, St Ann’s Valley, Mansfield Central, Kirkby in Ashfield, Sutton in Ashfield and Hucknall.
This forms part of a national celebration of Agatha Christie’s life and work.
