Learning to drive and need to practice for the theory test? Use this professional online service free of charge with your library card membership.
What is Theory Test Pro?
Theory Test Pro is an online simulation of the UK’s driving theory test. Passing the test is an essential part of learning to drive, it contains the official practice question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the highway code. All material is licensed from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), who set the tests.
It allows you to sit a full practice test or work on specific areas – multiple choice, hazard perception or highway code.
Where can I access it?
Remotely on your own device, or at a library on one of our PCs.
You’ll need to be a library member. Not a library member yet? Don’t worry it’s free and you can join by visiting a library or apply online
How do I use it?
Register by entering your name, email address and a password. This is separate to your library PIN/password.
You will then be taken to the dashboard where you can choose whether to take a full test or practice a specific area.
