Nottingham City libraries are hosting various games clubs, roleplaying games, as well as Wargaming across the city!
Tabletop Wargaming Club!
Nottingham Libraries is hosting it’s own free wargaming club for various games, in our Central Library Space! Our sessions are running every Saturday from 10-3pm!

Play your games
Our aim is to provide a space for you to play the wargames that YOU want.
Our table spaces are drop in, with the ability to book a table for yourself by contacting our team! We hope to provide suitable gaming environments for a wide variety of wargames to suit your Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or general wargaming themes!

Paint your miniatures, showcase your creations.
In addition to the wargaming spaces, we will also be providing a friendly and comfortable environment for players to come in and paint their own miniatures! We even aim to provide a few free miniatures for people to try their hand at painting, perhaps event take them home!
During our sessions we are eager to show off your work on social media, so if you have any particular pieces you are proud of, please do let us know!
Don’t have your own painting supplies? Worry not! Army Painter have kindly contributed some of their own paints to our club, meaning you can come in with your unpainted miniatures and get started on your next big painting project.
Gaming Demos
For many, getting into a wargame can be a somewhat daunting prospect.
Thankfully staff are at hand to help introduce you to the wargames we have on offer, as well as help teach you how these games work, and introduce you to others who are brand new to the hobby! We aim to be a place where newcomers can be welcome!
Our demo’s are available to customers looking to learn some of the games our staff can offer, and bookable with staff in the library!
The current games we are able to run demo’s on are…

- Star Wars Legion.
- Warhammer 40k.
