The Giant Who Slept for 10 Thousand Years

THE GIANT WHO SLEPT FOR TEN THOUSAND YEARS

Created and performed by Bori Mező

Our story begins 10,000 years ago, when giants roamed the land. A thrown pebble wakes a powerful sea troll. What follows is a journey through time, nature and the world around us.

Tales From the Wheelbarrow

TALES FROM THE WHEELBARROW

Created and performed by recycling artist Michelle Reader and musician Steno Vitale.

Meet Olive, a park-keeper on a mission to tackle litter, and Teaspoon, an anarchic bird puppet made entirely from discarded materials. Their story unfolds in and around a life-sized wheelbarrow, where everyday objects become creatures, tools, and curious new forms. As Olive tidies the park, she has surprising encounters with wildlife and curious visitors. Handmade puppets, clever contraptions, and found objects transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, inviting audiences to look closer and notice the hidden stories around them.
