Nott Another Writing Room

Nottingham Central Library is proud to welcome, Nott Another Writing Room to the building!

No pressure, no judging, no “right way” to write, alright. Just a chill space where people happen to be putting words on paper (or on a screen). Maybe you’re deep into a novel. Maybe you’re scribbling a poem on a napkin. Maybe it’s a journal entry, a letter you’ll never send, or the first sentence of something you don’t even have a name for yet.

Grab a seat, open your laptop or a notebook, and write (or stare thoughtfully, that counts as writing too… yeah of course it does, it’s writingless writing). Some days the words flow, some days they don’t, and either is fine here. You don’t have to share what you write. You don’t have to talk to or look at anyone. You just have to show up.
