Slugageddon!

Nottingham Central Library Wednesday 27 May 2pm

Prepare yourself for Slugageddon — a chaotic, funny, and thought-provoking comedy show for children that takes a slippery look at survival, silliness, and social commentary… all through the unexpected lens of slugs.

The show blends surreal storytelling, sharp humour, and absurdity in equal measure. Whether you’re a fan of offbeat comedy or just curious what an apocalypse led by slugs might look like, this is your moment.
Come for the slugs. Stay for the gags. Slugageddon is coming. Are you ready?
Suitable for children aged 6-11. Tickets are priced at £5 per person or £14 for a family of four.

Make a Moving Robot

Come along and make a moving robot from junk materials and electric circuits, inspired by the book The Wild Robot!
The session is led by STEM experts LEBC, who will show children how to construct a simple electronic circuit to make their robot move. Children can take the junk material elements of their robot home but the batteries, motor and electronic parts will be kept at the library.
Suitable for ages 7-11. Only children need a ticket but adults need to remain in the library whilst their child takes part in the workshop.

Wednesday  27th May – Meadows Library 1.30pm and 2.45pm
