Get Online Week

Taking place from 18-24 October, Get Online Week 2021 is a celebration of digital inclusion that inspires people to do more online and helps them learn how.

Digital Workshops

For Get Online Week we are pleased to be back in our libraries running computer workshops. If you want to know how to create your own website, get creative with your photographs or learn more about your tablet, scroll down to find out more and book your place.

And if you are more interested in reading a good book or relaxing with a magazine, then drop-in to one of our libraries and find out more about our eResources.

Exploring our eResources

All week we are promoting our extensive eResource collection: free eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers and eAudio to read and listen to online or download.

If you have never used our eResources and need a bit of help getting started just drop in to one of the libraries at a day and time listed below. Bring along your own personal device, or, if you don’t have a device and are just intrigued, drop-in and ask for a demonstration.

The sessions will be 1-2-1 and last no more than 15 minutes.

Keeping Everyone Safe

So that you and our staff can feel safe we advise that face coverings be worn where possible. We will not be sharing or touching devices; we will offer hand sanitiser and regularly clean the library.

Because these are drop-in sessions, you may have to wait a short while; there will be somewhere to sit.
