ONS Census 2021 21 March Libraries are here to help

Do you need help with your Census form?

You can book help with a Nottingham City Library Census Adviser. Our advisers are local library staff who you may have met before, who have been specially trained to offer help with the Census.

Census Day was Sunday 21 March 2021

You have until Tuesday 4 May to complete it, if you need help please see below on how libraries can help you.

The Census is a survey that happens every 10 years and provides a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. Information that you provide helps determine what services and funding is needed both locally and nationally.

  • Before Census Day, every household will receive information explaining how to complete the survey, for most people this will be a letter in the post with an access code that will allow for completion online for your household.
  • If you prefer to complete your own census form as an individual you can request a separate code.
  • You can also request a paper form if you would prefer.

You are required by law to complete the survey for the people who are in your household on Census Day, however you have until Tuesday May 4 2021 to find out all the information needed and submit your form.
